Automotive Headlight Production Worker

Work location: Šenov u Nového Jičína.
Salary:
- The average monthly salary is 27,723 CZK gross. Including all bonuses and allowances, employees can earn 25,000–32,000 CZK net per month;
- A production bonus of up to 15% is provided depending on the team's performance;
- A 26 CZK allowance is paid for each hour worked during night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM;
- Overtime and additional pay include +25% for weekend work, +35% for overtime on weekdays, +50% for overtime at night and on weekends, and +100% for work on public holidays, all calculated from the basic hourly wage;
- Employees working irregular schedules receive an additional 14 CZK per hour;
- In the event of production downtime, employees receive 80% of their salary;
- All bonuses and allowances are calculated based on the basic hourly wage.
Work schedule:
- Work is from Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are normally days off, although the schedule may change depending on production needs;
- Standard shifts are 8 hours, with the possibility of working up to 12 hours when required;
- Three-shift system: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00;
- A 30-minute paid break is provided during each shift;
- Employees typically work 160–210 hours per month.
Accommodation:
- Accommodation costs 6,000 CZK per month, deducted from the salary;
- Employees who arrange their own accommodation receive a 3,000 CZK monthly housing allowance;
- Accommodation is provided in a house located in Skotnice;
- Rooms are shared by 2 or 4 people;
- Standard single beds are provided;
- The rooms are fully furnished and include bed linen. The kitchen, bathroom, and washing machine are shared;
- The commute to work takes approximately 10 minutes by bus. Employees travel independently by public transport and receive a 500 CZK monthly transportation allowance.
Employment contract: Hlavní pracovní poměr (HPP).
Required documents: Employment is available for candidates with visa-free entry or Czech temporary protection.
Additional Information:
- The company specializes in the production of automotive headlights and other lighting components for leading automotive brands;
- The work is performed while standing, so candidates must not have any medical restrictions related to prolonged standing;
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and good eyesight are required for this position;
- Before starting work, candidates must pass a practical test on assembling an automotive headlight. Only those who successfully pass the test will be accepted for the job;
- There is a cafeteria on the company premises where employees can purchase a set lunch for 22 CZK;
- The work takes place in a modern, clean production facility equipped with heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfortable working conditions throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling automotive headlights on the production line;
- Installing components manually and using simple tools;
- Connecting plastic parts and installing wiring harnesses;
- Performing visual quality inspections of components and finished products;
- Inspecting completed headlights to ensure they meet quality standards.
